Kenosha Co. Sheriff's Department: Man pronounced dead after his Jeep struck a tree in Township of Brighton

KENOSHA COUNTY -- The Kenosha County Sheriff's Department is investigating a fatal crash that happened in the Township of Brighton early Sunday, October 9th.

The wreck happened just before 12:30 a.m. in the 24500 block of County Hwy NN.

Upon their arrival at the scene, deputies located a Jeep Grand Cherokee that struck a tree adjacent to a curved section of roadway.

The operator and lone occupant of the Jeep, identified as 29-year-old Jarron Lemay from the Village of Somers, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Sheriff's officials say speed and alcohol are believed to have contributed to this crash.

This crash remains under investigation.
