Trump to visit Wisconsin Oct. 17 in wake of criticism over remarks about women

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is set to visit Wisconsin next week after scuttling an appearance in the wake of criticism over predatory remarks he made about women.

Trump was due to appear in Elkhorn with state Republican leaders on Saturday but House Speaker Paul Ryan said Trump wasn't welcome at the event after a recording was released featuring the former reality TV star making vulgar comments about grabbing women's genitals.

Trump's campaign told The Associated Press late Tuesday afternoon, October 11th that the candidate will visit the state on Monday, October 17th. The campaign did not release any other details.
