WAUKESHA COUNTY — On Friday, October 14th, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is scheduled to begin construction of a Park and Ride lot in the Village of Summit in Waukesha County.

The lot will be located just west of County P and north of County DR.

Upon completion, the Park and Ride will have 150 parking stalls and a multi-use path adjacent to the lot that will connect to the southern-most roundabout on County P.

The construction will have virtually no traffic impact to the adjacent roadways.

The contractor, Michels Corp., is planning on completing the $412,000 project in summer 2017. Project construction will shut down over the winter.

The schedule of work is weather dependent and subject to change.
