MADISON — As Wisconsin’s closely watched Senate race enters its final weeks, voters will get two chances to see the candidates sharing the debate stage.

Sen. Ron Johnson and Democrat Russ Feingold will meet for their first debate on Friday, October 14th in Green Bay with the second debate Tuesday, October 18th in Milwaukee.

A Marquette University Law School poll released Wednesday, October 12th shows the race to be about even among likely voters.

The poll showed Feingold with 46 percent support compared to 44 percent for Johnson, a difference within the poll’s 3.9-point margin of error.

Johnson has never led in the Marquette polls since Feingold got in the race 16 months ago.
