Argument between brothers leads to gunfire on city's north side

MILWAUKEE -- One person is in custody after an altercation leads to gunfire on Milwaukee's north side.

Milwaukee police were called to the shooting at N. 40th. St. and W. Kaul Ave shortly before 5:30 p.m on Saturday, October 15th.

According to authorities, the 54-year-old victim got into an argument with his 65-year-old brother when he was shot.

He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

His older brother stayed at the scene and was arrested by first-responding officers.

The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
