Dispose of your old prescriptions during Drug Take-Back Day Saturday, October 22

MILWAUKEE -- It's time to clean out the medicine cabinet at home. Attorney General Brad Schimel is encouraging everyone to take part in the fall Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday, October 22nd.

Schimel says last year, people in Wisconsin turned in the third largest amount of prescription drugs in the country.

As part of the "Dose of Reality" campaign, they're providing online materials to educate people about the dangers of prescription drugs.

"We can change the future of our state. If we use our prescription only as they're prescribed to us, we store them safely and securely when we have them in our homes, and when we're done taking them dispose of them," said Schimel.
