Thiensville Fire Department hosting 3rd annual "Truck or Treat" on Sunday, October 30

THIENSVILLE -- Grab your costume and a non-perishable food item -- the Thiensville Fire Department will be hosting its 3rd annual "Truck or Treat So Others Can Eat" event on Sunday, October 30th.

The annual event will take place at the Thiensville Fire Department during Sunday's trick or treating in the village from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m.

Members of the department will be handing out candy to kids right form the fire trucks, and at the same time will be collecting bagged non-perishable food for local pantries.

“We have done the Truck or Treat for years but two years we decided to further our overall mission of helping those in need,” says Fire Chief Brian Reiels. “It’s a fun way for kids to interact with firefighters and help provide the safest possible experience for everyone who’s out on the streets and at the same time help others by collecting non-perishable food for local food pantries.”

The Thiensville Fire Department is located at  250 Elm Street in Thiensville.
