MFD officials battle fire at home near 36th & Garfield; “number” of animals removed

MILWAUKEE — Officials with the Milwaukee Fire Department on Monday, October 31st were on the scene of a fire at a home near 36th and Garfield.

MFD was called to the scene around 3:30 p.m.

FOX6 News was told a number of animals were taken from the home.

At least two people were out of the home when firefighters arrived. It is not believed anyone was hurt.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
