Aurora proposes clinic at Howell and Ryan Road in Oak Creek

OAK CREEK -- Aurora Health Care has announced plans to expand health care services in Oak Creek with a $17 million new clinic at 200 E. Ryan Road.

On Tuesday, November 8th, the Oak Creek Plan Commission approved Aurora’s plans to remodel an existing vacant building at the northeast corner of Howell Avenue and Ryan Road.

New and expanded services at the clinic include urgent care, primary care and specialty services, as well as radiology, lab and pharmacy services. The clinic will replace a smaller Lakeshore Medical Group location at 331 E. Puetz Road that has served the city for more than 20 years, and will offer 20,000 square feet of additional space. For the convenience of patients, the site will offer extended hours in both the clinic and urgent care.

“Aurora Health Care is always looking for better ways to deliver high-quality, cost-effective health care, and now we have the opportunity to provide greater access to expanded services in rapidly growing Oak Creek,” said Dennis Potts, executive vice president of Aurora’s South Region in a statement. “We are confident that the new facility would allow us to better address the growing demand for health care in our area, which will help make our whole community healthier.”

Construction work on the clinic will begin in early 2017 and the clinic is expected to open later in the year.
