JEFFERSON COUNTY — A 23-year-old woman from Oconomowoc died from injuries in a rollover crash in the Township of Ixonia early Friday, November 18th.

Officials with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office say the crash happened just after 2:30 a.m. on State Highway 16, just west of Lang Rd.

The investigation shows a pickup truck was traveling eastbound on STH 16 — and the driver failed to negotiate a curve, went into a median and eventually rolled. The Oconomowoc woman was ejected from the truck — and suffered fatal injuries. A 21-year-old woman from Ixonia was also hurt in the crash. She was taken to Aurora Hospital in the Town of Summit.

The Jefferson County Crash Investigation Unit is investigating this incident.
