WATCH: Greendale High School Marching Band performs "Can't Stop the Feeling" at Macy's Parade!

NEW YORK CITY -- The Greendale High School Marching Band on Thanksgiving -- Thursday, November 24th performed in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City!

It was a huge honor for the young men and women who worked hard to get there.

Tom Reifenberg, director of bands, around 11:30 a.m. lead 270 students onto the school's biggest stage ever: Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

"Performing in front of millions and millions of people! We've performed in front of thousands of people before at national competitions. But 50 million on TV is a lot more than that," Reifenberg said.

Band members learned of the honor in April 2015 -- and they've been practicing ever since -- leading up to the big day!

900 parents, friends and relatives came along on this trip to NYC -- and many more watched from home.

The Greendale High School Marching Band performed two pieces during the parade: Justin Timberlake's "Can't Stop the Feeling" and a Mary Poppins melody.

The Greendale High School Marching Band was one of just seven high school bands in the nation taking part in this parade.
