Police: Man shot in the arm then drove to Vincent High School before he was taken to the hospital

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that happened in the neighborhood near Vincent High School on Tuesday evening, November 29th.

Officials say the victim is a 19-year-old man. He was shot in the arm just before 5:00 p.m.

The shooting happened near Granville and Everts -- just off the Vincent High School campus. Police say it may have been the result of a minor car accident that happened somewhere between the scene of the shooting and 39th and Villard.

The suspect fired one round at the victim, police said. Five others were in the vehicle -- but no one else was hurt.

Police say the victim, who is not a student at Vincent High School, then drove to the school to pick someone up.

He was eventually taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

No arrests have been made.
