First significant snow: Drivers urged to take it slow on the roads

WAUKESHA COUNTY -- Drivers will be dealing with the first significant snow on Sunday, December 4th -- and that means it's time to take it easy.

Officials urge drivers to allow extra time to get where they are going -- and allow extra space between cars. Because it has been a while since we've all dealt with the slick conditions we'll face on Sunday, just take it easy.

The road temperatures are right for snow to stick to the pavement -- which will mean there will likely be slushy, slick conditions. See our Road Temperatures map below -- courtesy of the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
