Whitefish Bay police: Packages stolen from porches 6 times within just 6 days

WHITEFISH BAY — Police in Whitefish Bay are alerting residents after a number of packages were stolen from homes in the village. It happened six times in six days.

Whitefish Bay police are investigating the following incidents:

  • Sometime on December 1st, a package was taken from a residence in the 4900 block of N. Newhall Street
  • On November 30th between 1:00 p.m. and 2:20 p.m., a package was taken from a residence in the 5100 block of N. Bay Ridge Avenue
  • On November 25th between 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., a package was taken from a residence in the 800 block of E. Lake Forest Avenue
  • Sometime between November 25th at noon and November 28th at 9:48 a.m., a package was taken from a residence in the 5500 block of N. Bay Ridge Avenue
  • On November 26th between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., a package was taken from a residence in the 5500 block of N. Bay Ridge Avenue
  • Sometime between November 25th at 6:36 p.m. and November 26th at 3:20 p.m., a package was taken from a residence in the 5100 block of N. Kent Avenue

Residents are advised to secure packages, and call police to report any suspicious activity.

    This is not a new phenomenon. Happens every year and more so at Christmas. Have packages delivered to a neighbor or your back door.
