WAFFLE FRIES on the special holiday menu at McDonald's; offered to customers in Canada

McDonald's is offering a special holiday menu at its restaurants in Canada -- and that menu includes waffle fries!

The "Seasons Cravings" menu also features a new burger -- the Potato Rosti and Bacon Burger, and a Turtle Sundae with Pecans.

The burger features 100% Canadian beef, savoury bacon pieces, a crispy potato rosti, processed cheddar cheese and a creamy cheese sauce on a toasted bun, topped with rolled oats.

The waffle fries are potatoes cut in a criss-cross design and coated with a crisp, tasty batter.

The sundae includes vanilla soft serve, hot fudge sauce, mini caramel Turtles pieces and a chocolate and caramel drizzle.

Time Magazine is reporting the menu also includes a salted caramel latte and a peppermint mocha coffee.

According to Time, the peppermint mocha drink will make its way to the U.S., but there are no plans at this point to bring the waffle fries stateside.
