Cedarburg: Dog rescued from Zuenert Park waters after falling through ice

CEDARBURG — Three divers of the Cedarburg Fire Department saved a dog after it had fallen through the ice at Zuenert Park located in Cedarburg Saturday, December 10th.

According to the fire department, while using a neighbor’s boat, the three divers in mustang suits went out on the ice, breaking it as they went along, and rescued the large dog that had broke through.


Officials say although cold and exhausted, the dog appeared to be OK. They say its loving family was on scene and transported the dog to an emergency veterinarian.
