Celebrating with the neighbors they serve: MPD's District 7 hosts holiday party for residents

MILWAUKEE -- Residents near Milwaukee Police Department District Seven celebrated the holidays with the men in blue Saturday, December 10th.

District Seven, along with their faith-based partners, held a Christmas celebration at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church located on 53rd Street -- with special guest Santa Claus!

Folks enjoyed a chicken dinner, gift giving, fun activities and of course photos with Santa.

“This event put on by District Seven highlights the mission of the Milwaukee Police Department where our officers work together with the residents of the community to help those in need, especially during the holiday season,” said Milwaukee Police Chief Ed Flynn.
