"Such a good cause:" Kind-hearted volunteers wrap gifts for the Boys and Girls Club

MILWAUKEE -- The Boys and Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee are working to make sure kids have a lot to smile about during the holidays.

The organization kicked off a gift wrapping party to make that happen on Saturday, December 10th.

More than 150 volunteers turned out to wrap gifts at Bayshore Town Center. Most of the 6,000 gifts were donated by the retailer Meijer.

Once the gifts are wrapped and ready to go, they'll be delivered to the 44 Boys and Girls Clubs in the area.

"The giving this time of year is always fun, but when you're giving it to such a good cause and such a great organization of the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee, just makes it much more special," said John Fitzgerald, volunteer.

This was the sixth year for the event.
