Packers' Jared Cook, Sargento officials present $39K check to Hunger Task Force

MILWAUKEE -- Just in time for the holidays, the Hunger Task Force on Tuesday, December 13th received a big donation.

The Green Bay Packers and Sargento Foods presented a $39,000 check to the Hunger Task Force -- marking the 14th season of the "Touchdowns for Charity" program.

The program has raised more than $1.1 million since it began.

Packers' tight end Jared Cook joined Sargento officials to present the check.

"I want to thank everyone for being here today. I want to thank the volunteers of the Hunger Task Force, the people that donate their time and efforts and make sure the well-being of others is cared for," Cook said.

Being the official cheese of the Green Bay Packers, Sargento also donated $1,000 to the Hunger Task Force for each Packers touchdown.

Cook also took time to sit down and sign autographs for volunteers.
