MILWAUKEE — Joy Global has sold its surface mining facility at 3925 W. Orchard St. in Milwaukee for nearly $4.4 million.

Selling the roughly 200,000 square foot building near Miller Park Way creates an opportunity to refill the building with another manufacturing company.

Joy Global closed the facility amid lower demand for mining equipment.

The new owner is Reich Brothers LLC., a national company that buys vacant plants, sells off remaining equipment and leases them to new tenants.
