Man seriously injured following hit-and-run crash near 29th and Clybourn

MILWAUKEE — A man suffered serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run crash near 29th and Clybourn Avenue in Milwaukee.

The crash occurred Thursday, December 15th around 4:30 p.m.

According to police, a 59-year-old Milwaukee man was struck by southbound 1995 GMC Jimmy as he was attempting to get into his parked vehicle.

The Jimmy was speeding and lost control — striking three parked vehicles before striking the victim.

The two male occupants of the GMC Jimmy fled the scene on foot after the accident.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.

    Hope the victim recovers before the holidays and my prayers go out to him and the thugs get caught in time to spend time in jail during Christmas awaiting charges and a trial date!
