Can you help? Police seek suspect after armed robbery at north side post office

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with an armed robbery at the United States Post Office near 35th Street and Capitol Drive.

It happened around 3:10 p.m. on December 12th.

The suspect walked into the building, pointed a gun at the clerk, and demanded money from the cash register. The suspect took the money and placed it into a backpack and fled the scene on foot.



The suspect is described as a black male, in his mid-20’s, 5’8”-5’10” tall, with a thin to medium build. He was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, a dark mask, white latex gloves, dark jeans, dark Adidas shoes, and carrying a light purple/blue/pink backpack.
