BUSTED for wearing mask in public, man dressed as Joker arrested in Virginia



WINCHESTER, Virginia -- A man in Virginia was arrested for wearing a "Joker" costume in public.

Police say he was dressed like the Batman character from head-to-toe wearing a cape and carrying a sword.

Officers arrested him after receiving calls in Winchester, Virginia on Friday afternoon, March 24th.

Jeremy Putman was later charged with wearing a mask in public, which could land him in jail for up to five years.

He is being held on $2,000 bond.
