Power restored to 23,000 customers after storms, some strong, push through SE WI

MILWAUKEE -- We Energies has restored power to 23,000 customers, after severe storms with high winds and lightning caused numerous power outages throughout the Fox Valley and southeastern Wisconsin Wednesday evening, May 17th.

Many wires and trees came down causing extensive damage in Jefferson, Walworth and southern Milwaukee Counties. Crews continue to work to assess the damage and make areas safe.

We Energies says they appreciate your patience their our crews work safely and quickly to restore power.

Power out or downed wire? Please stay at least 25 feet away from downed wires and report your outage and receive specific updates online or by calling us at 800-662-4797.
