Caught on camera: Semi catches fire on off-ramp in Beaver Dam

BEAVER DAM -- A FOX6 News viewer captured video on Wednesday, May 24th of a semi that caught fire in Dodge County.

The Piggly Wiggly truck caught fire shortly after 9:00 a.m. on the northbound Highway 151 off-ramp to Highway A in Beaver Dam. The driver of the truck managed to get out of the vehicle safely.

The ramp where this incident happened was closed for several hours to allow for the fire department to fight the fire and cleanup afterwards.

Officials have not identified the cause of the fire. Both the truck and trailer were total losses.

No injuries were reported.
