Freight train carrying crude oil derails in Plainfield, Illinois



PLAINFIELD, IL -- A train has derailed near Plainfield, Illinois -- about 40 miles southwest of Chicago.

Aerial footage shows the mess: 40,000 gallons of crude oil is leaking from the wreckage.

It happened in the area of Route 59 and Riverwalk Court.

Police say right now no businesses or residents are in danger.

Crews are working to keep the oil contained.
