Police: Milwaukee woman shot, wounded near 23rd and Hopkins

MILWAUKEE -- A 30-year-old Milwaukee woman was shot on Friday night, July 14th.

According to police, the shooting happened around 11:40 p.m. in the neighborhood near 23rd and Hopkins.

Police say the victim sustained injuries not believed to be life-threatening, and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The shooting remains under investigation.
