Police: 1 dead, 1 injured after vehicle goes off viaduct; driver arrested for OWI

MILWAUKEE -- One person has died and another was injured in a crash on Milwaukee's north side Sunday night, July 30th.

It happened near 76th and Tower just before 8:00 p.m. Police say the vehicle left the roadway from the viaduct that goes over railroad tracks.

According to police, a 37-year-old man was driving his 2002 Toyota Sienna minivan southbound when he lost control and the van crashed.  The driver was ejected from the vehicle and his passenger, a 24-year-old man, had to be extricated from the vehicle.
