"It affects a lot of people, but what can you do?" a neighbor said.

This neighbor, who lives across the street from the park, said after roughly 30 years in the area, where he raised his kids, it's just not the same anymore.

"It's beginning to be the norm now, but you got these young people with guns. What can you say?" the neighbor said.

He watched as investigators worked the crime scene, and encouraged witnesses to come forward. Police said there were numerous people who saw what happened.
