Milwaukee DPW deploys 18 salt trucks to treat bridges, overpasses

MILWAUKEE -- The City of Milwaukee Department of Public Works (DPW) reports that 18 salt trucks have been deployed to treat bridges and overpasses in the City as lake-effect snow showers move through the area.

DPW officials encourage motorists to slow down and plan extra time and room between vehicles as you travel to your destinations tonight. Also, please give our salt truck drivers plenty of room as they perform their duties keeping our City streets clear and safe.
