Menomonee Falls police: Unidentified person "arranged to settle the matter" of stolen gas 

MENOMONEE FALLS -- Menomonee Falls police say their investigation into five reported thefts of gasoline from a Kwik Trip has ended. This, after the company was contacted by an unidentified person who arranged to settle the matter of the stolen gas.

The thefts took place between November 25th and December 12th at the Kwik Trip gas station located at Main St. and Pilgrim Rd. Officials say the suspect stole a total of 70.54 gallons of unleaded gas valued at $165.69.

Menomonee Falls police say Kwik Trip has requested no prosecution -- and no arrest has or will be made in accord with the business’s wishes.
