Suspect steals vehicle with 7-year-old boy inside; drives 1 block before bailing

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating after a suspect entered a vehicle near 21st and National -- which was running and had a seven-year-old boy inside -- and drove away with it. He traveled down the road about one block, and then fled on foot from the vehicle.

Officials say it happened around 7:30 a.m. Thursday morning, January 11th.

Milwaukee police released surveillance video of the possible suspect.

He's described as a black male, 14-21 years old, 5'5"-5'7" tall, weighing between 90-160 pounds and has short hair. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, white and black stone-washed jeans and black athletic shoes.
