Get married for free on Valentine's Day at Lakefront Brewery: 'This year will be bigger and better than ever'

MILWAUKEE -- Lakefront Brewery is once again offering free weddings and vow renewals on Valentine's Day,  Wednesday, Feb. 14.

As a part of the love and romance of Valentine’s Day, anyone over 21, with a marriage license, can be wed for free at the brewery -- and that's not all! According to a news release from brewery officials, weddings include two free pints of beer to have in-hand during the ceremony, a six-pack, two Lakefront Brewery T-shirts and two Lakefront cookies to take home.

Couples can also request two engraved pint glasses, a short, professional photographer session and for the first 10 couples that sign up, free wedding bouquets!

Lakefront will provide six officiants (brewery tour guides)  that have been ordained and are prepared to marry as many couples as scheduling allows on Valentine's Day.

Couples can book weddings every 15 minutes from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

There are two small areas that have been decorated for the occasion, one being Bernie Brewer's original chalet from Milwaukee’s County Stadium.

Lakefront Brewery will also conduct two mass vow renewals in the Beer Hall. Owner and President, Russ Klisch, will be presiding over the mass vow renewals set for 12:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. Couples renewing their vows can do so with a beer in hand.

The Brewery opens at 11 a.m. and closes at 8 p.m. on Valentine's Day.

Note: You must book ahead by calling (414) 292-0801, and you'll need your marriage license.

Brewery officials noted in the release a couple from California is flying in for this!
