Elm Grove police warn motorists after 2 more vehicles had windows smashed, items stolen

ELM GROVE -- Elm Grove police are urging people visiting their community to be mindful of what is being left in vehicles -- in plain view.

Officials say on Friday, Jan. 26, two more vehicles had their windows smashed and purses were removed from the front seats while the owners entered the Elm Grove Preschool Daycare. Within minutes, credit cards were subsequently used by the suspect.

A suspicious subject was witnessed in the area, officials say. However police were never notified.

Officials urge anyone to call the police when you see something that seems out of the ordinary.
