According to the IKEA website, interviews will be on a walk-in basis. No appointment necessary. But those interested should come early to guarantee a spot.
Open positions include:

- Merchandising Basics Co-worker
IKEA says their benefits include a competitive health care plan (for co-workers who work more than 20 hours a week), a generous 401(k) plan, an additional retirement plan called “Tack” (the Swedish word for “thank you”), tuition assistance, a co-worker discount, a co-worker meal deal, a generous paid-time off package, and more.
The 291,000 square foot store in Oak Creek is set to open this summer on 29 acres of land near the corner of I-94 and Drexel Ave. The store will include a 300-seat cafeteria-style restaurant -- and the famous Swedish meatballs will be a featured item.
Again, an exact opening date hasn't been set for the Oak Creek IKEA. The closest IKEA stores right now are in Bolingbrook and Schaumburg, IL; St. Louis, MO; and Bloomington, MN.
