MFD: 2 displaced following fire in home near 12th and Capitol

MILWAUKEE -- Two people are displaced after a fire started in a 1.5-story home near 12th and Capitol early Saturday morning, February 10th.

The call came in around 1:00 a.m.

Authorities say the fire started on a mattress in the home and spread from there. The two people inside were able to evacuate the house and are now displaced.

Fire officials say no on was injured. Damages are estimated at $32,000.
