MillerCoors shifts its cider production from California to Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE -- MillerCoors is bringing its cider production of Crispin from Colfax, California to its recently expanded 10th Street Brewery in Milwaukee.

With its upgraded brewing and packaging flexibility, company officials say the 10th Street Brewery is ideally suited to deliver on the needs of Crispin, including the ability to produce high-quality ciders in bottles and cans. MillerCoors has spent $45 million in upgrades to the main Milwaukee Brewery in the last 16 months. The extra work will also add jobs to the 10th Street Brewery.

The Crisipin Cidery will be shut down effective December 2018. They say they will be working closely with their team members there and providing resources to support them throughout this process and following the closure.
