Germantown High School students cited for disorderly conduct after threat found on desk

GERMANTOWN -- Two Germantown High School students, 17 and 16, were cited for disorderly conduct after a threatening message was found on a desk.

Germantown police said it happened Monday, Feb. 19.

Police said the students were discussing the Florida school shooting and one of the students made a comment about the shooting, which was reduced to writing on a desk that both students were responsible for.

A teacher found the message and reported it to school administration.

Both students were identified and cooperative. Police said they were remorseful.

There was no credible threat, police said.
