67-year-old man dies after bulldozer overturns into creek in Manitowoc County

MANITOWOC COUNTY -- A 67-year-old Michicot man was killed after his bulldozer went off a road and into a ditch in Manitowoc County. It happened around 9:45 a.m. Thursday, February 22nd.

According to the Manitowoc County Sheriff's Office, the man was driving the 1978 Case 450 Dozer eastbound on the south shoulder of Twin Bridge Road in the Town of Gibson, when the bulldozer slid down a ditch embankment and overturned into the partially frozen Jambo Creek.

Officials say the man was pulled from the water and taken to Aurora Bay Care in Green Bay, where he later died.

The name of the victim is being withheld pending family notification.

The incident remains under investigation by the Manitowoc County Sheriff's office and Manitowoc County Coroner's Office.
