Watch dashcam: Police pursuit ends in crash in Stadium Interchange, driver fled on foot



GREENFIELD -- Greenfield police are investigating after a short pursuit ended in a crash in the Stadium Interchange early Friday morning, Feb. 23. The driver fled the scene on foot.

According to police, the pursuit began around 3:30 a.m. after an officer attempted to pull a vehicle over for a traffic violation on 43rd --  just south of Oklahoma.

Police say the vehicle fled -- and a pursuit ensued.

The pursuit ended after the fleeing vehicle crashed into a guard rail while attempting to turn eastbound onto I-94 from Miller Parkway.

The suspect fled the scene on foot -- jumping a nearby fence before dropping into an embankment.

The chase lasted 3.6 miles -- with speeds reaching 97 miles per hour.
