On Saturday, March 24, an 8-month-old girl died near 13th and Becher. That same day, a 3-week-old girl died in a Cudahy apartment building.

"I woke up early on Saturday morning and saw three cop cars in my driveway -- a bunch of hustle and bustle going on in the apartment," said Takarah Meyer, neighbor.

Meyer said she feels for her neighbor's loss.

"I'm very sorry for her, and I hope her and her family just continue to have blessings," said Meyer.

"All families should just be aware of the best way to sleep with their infants," said Amanda Bagin with Children's Health Alliance of Wisconsin.

Bagin educates groups and families on safe sleeping.

"All families should follow the ABC method," said Bagin.

The method means babies should sleep A) alone, B) on their back and C) in a crib, breathing smoke-free air. Bagin said it's something all parents should keep top of mind.

"One of the biggest things is, it can happen to any family," said Bagin.

Police said all of the incidents are under investigation.

Autopsies have been performed on all of the babies. The cause of death is pending in all three cases.
