    SUSSEX– Ryan Filo is a senior on the Sussex Hamilton varsity basketball team. He is the leader on a team that is full of freshman and sophomores.     BEAVER DAM– Maddie Biel is a senior at Beaver Dam high school. She is one of the leaders on the Swan City Ice Skaters of Beaver Dam. They are a synchronized skating team. Maddie has been skating with the squad for the past 10 years. She also works with younger girls who are getting into the sport.     MILWAUKEE– Joe French is senior at Marquette University High School. He has committed to row for UW-Madison in the fall. Joe just started rowing a couple of year ago. He tried a lot of other sports like cross country, basketball and soccer before trying out rowing. He says he was able to pick it up quickly and improved quickly.
