    Milwaukee police: 27-year-old man shot, injured near 26th & Nash

    MILWAUKEE (WITI) — Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that occurred  N. 26th and Nash at 6:25 p.m. on October 30. According to police, a 27-year-old man from Milwaukee presented himself at a local hospital suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim is not cooperating with our investigation and gave statements that are inconsistent with evidence located at the scene. The injury appears to be non-life threatening. The investigation into this matter is ongoing.

    Police: 24-year-old man used apps to meet, groom and then sexually assault a 12-year-old girl

    WAUKESHA (WITI) — Detectives with the Waukesha Police Department arrested a 24-year-old man on Tuesday, October 28th after they learned he allegedly communicated with, met and sexually assaulted a 12-year-old girl who lives in Waukesha on more than one occasion. Authorities say the suspect used social media smartphone apps to communicate with the victim. The apps used were: Tinder, KiK, text messaging, Whisper and Snapchat.     MILWAUKEE (WITI) — A Milwaukee Police Department van was involved in an accident on Thursday, October 30th. It happened near the intersection of N. 99th Street and Good Hope Road around 12 p.m. According to officials, squad cars and the van were responding to call in the area when another vehicle collided with the van.     Fatal wreck: 21-year-old man killed in car vs. dump truck crash in Town of Raymond

    RACINE COUNTY (WITI) — A 21-year-old man from Kenosha was killed in a crash in the Town of Raymond Thursday morning, October 30th. It happened around 6:21 a.m. near the intersection of US 45/ North Raynor Avenue and 4 1/2 Mile Road. The accident involved a dump truck and a passenger vehicle.
