Veterans Day parade marches through downtown Milwaukee

The 48th Annual Veterans Day Parade rolled through downtown Milwaukee on Saturday, paying tribute to those who have served or are serving in the military. Families waved their American flags in support of the troops.

Ginny Mooney attended the parade on Saturday to pay tribute to the veterans in her family.

"I have brothers who've served in the service. I think we're very proud of the men who have served," Mooney said.

Some people, like Sue Selby, just came to show support.

"I love this parade. Every year, I come down and just give my support because they are keeping us free and safe," Selby said.

The parade started near 4th and Kilbourn and ended at Veterans Park.

Veterans Day is November 11th.
