Recall paperwork filed Tuesday for four senators, including Van Wanggaard

Tuesday was the launch of the effort to recall Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, and recall petitions were also filed Tuesday against four Wisconsin state senators: Republican Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald of Juneau, Pam Galloway of Wausau, Terry Moulton of Chippewa Falls, and Van Wanggaard of Racine. Those looking to oust Wanggaard are upset he supported Governor Walker with his vote on the collective bargaining issue.

Randolph Brandt filed the paperwork, for the Committee to Recall Wanggaard. Meanwhile, in Sturtevant, Wanggaard spent Tuesday focusing on job creation. He says he's confident that when voters see a long list of bi-partisan legislation he's authored, they'll understand his committment to the district and the state.

"We need to continue to grow the economy. That has to be our focus. If I would get distracted and taken off track now, that means we'll be doing less of what we should be doing. With this recall, I'm going to fight to show what my record is, and I'm going to continue working as hard as I can, right up to whenever this decision happens," Wanggaard said.

Those behind the Wanggaard recall effort say so far, there has been a steady stream of those willing to sign the recall petitions, and Wanggaard says he'll continue to go door-to-door spreading his message of committment to the state.
