Fans react after Packers' perfect season ends with loss to Chiefs

BROWN DEER -- The Green Bay Packers went 364 days without losing, until Sunday, when they lose 19-14 to the Kansas City Chiefs. The Packers' last loss came back on December 19th, 2010 against the New England Patriots. That's 19 straight victories - just two shy of the all-time record. The loss spread from Kansas City, Missouri to Wisconsin, and Packers' fans expressed their disappointment Sunday afternoon.

Through a series of gasps and grunts Sunday, Green Bay Packers' fans were taken aback by uncharacteristically poor play, and some fans even covered their eyes through much of the game. "They didn't do anything right today, at all," Alan Schneider said. "I think they really just didn't play as hard as they should have," Stephanie Schneider said.

The Packers' normally stellar receiving corps was out of sync during Sunday's game, and Aaron Rodgers faced constant pressure. "It was apparent that they were missing Greg Jennings. He was out. You didn't see a clear, defined threat deep. Rodgers was frustrated all day, under pressure from the Chiefs," Ryan Zenoni said.

The 19-14 defeat dumps the Packers' perfect season out the window, but some fans see a silver lining. "If they were going to lose, it's the prefect game to lose. Get them refocused, go into the playoffs with the mindset that we can be beat. We have to play our best at all times and not let our guard down," Alan Schneider said.

Many Packers' fans say though their disappointed in the loss to the Chiefs, and the loss of the Packers' perfect season, they're just happy that loss didn't come against the Chicago Bears next week.
