MILWAUKEE — The driver who hit the car of 39-year-old Bobby Jiles, knocking him off the Hoan Bridge will not be charged. The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Department says the driver’s blood tests have come back clean, and there is no evidence the driver was using a cell phone. Investigators also determined the driver was not speeding before hitting Jiles’ car.

The Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office will not issue charges, but a citation for inattentive driving will be issued.
