Tournament of Roses Parade dazzles thousands

PASADENA, CA -- The Tournament of Roses Parade has been around for more than 120 years. In 2012, the parade consisted of 43 floats, 21 bands and more than 400 horses.

Thousands of people spent as much as a day-and-a-half lining the streets of Pasadena to secure their spot for the parade. Not unlike the Great Circus Parade in Milwaukee, people bring blankets, lawn chairs, board games and plenty to eat and drink -- all this, in an effort to pass the time before the parade.

Once the parade begins, all the time and effort to get to the route and remain there for hours -- it all gets washed away by the wonder that is the Tournament of Roses Parade.
