Miller Park to host Timber Rattlers game in April

MILWAUKEE -- For the fourth consecutive season, Miller Park will host a Midwest League game featuring the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers (the Class-A affiliate of the Brewers).

The Timber Rattlers will play against the Dayton Dragons, the Class-A affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds, on Friday, April 27.  Game time is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.

In a news release, Brewers Chief Operating Officer Rick Schlesinger said, “Our partnership with the Timber Rattlers provides a terrific opportunity to host a Midwest League game at Miller Park and allows some of our minor league prospects the chance to display their talents in a Major League ballpark.”

The Timber Rattlers have been a minor league affiliate of the Brewers since the 2009 season.  The Dayton Dragons joined the Midwest League in 2000.  They moved from Rockford, Illinois after the 1999 season when they were the Rockford Reds, which was their first season as an affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds.
