Franklin home damaged after early morning fire



FRANKLIN -- A home in Franklin was damaged after fire broke out around 1 a.m. Monday, at 35th and W. Franklin Terrace.

Officials say the fire started in the garage, then spread to the house. Five other departments were called in to help manage the flames, including responders from New Berlin, Tess Corners, Hales, Corners, and Greenfield.

Officials say that no one was home at the time of the fire, and no one was injured. The cause of the fire is unknown, and remains under investigation.
